- 1Boil the potatoes until they are tender. Peel, dice, and set them aside.
- 2In a large bowl, combine the diced boiled potatoes, puffed rice, chopped onions, chopped green chilies and chopped coriander leaves.
- 3Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, chat masala, and salt to the bowl. Mix well.
- 4Pour the lemon or lime juice over the mixture and mix thoroughly.
- 5Heat the oil in small pan, let it get hot then add it to the chatpate mix. Mix properly.
- 6Check for seasoning and add more salt or spices if needed.
